THE TRAJECTORY
Expensive ads, and reviews about to be split in two
ALVO Golf makes premium, tour-inspired wedges with CNC micro-milled faces for spin and control, sold as a 52, 56 and 60 degree set or individually, in Satin Chrome or Stealth Black. The brand skips sponsorships and retail markups to offer tour-level performance at a fair price. It first worked with ScaleA2Z in February 2025, and came back in May 2026.
Losing money on ads
More than half of every ad dollar was going to cost. Campaigns were not built around the terms golfers actually use to shop for wedges. ACoS 56.1% and TACoS 45.6% in February 2025.
No advertising structure
Traffic was reaching the listings but not converting. Fewer than 2 in 100 sessions turned into a sale, at 1.96% in February 2025.
No catalog or brand assets
Amazon changed how reviews are shared across sizes, which threatened to split the brand ratings across separate variations, just as the spring and summer peak arrived.
THE STARTING POINT
Fix the ads, then win the rank
Advertising rebuild and management
Restructured campaigns around high-intent wedge searches by loft, set and finish
Cut spend on search terms that clicked but never converted
Scaled into spring, summer and holiday peaks, then pulled back to protect margin
01 · CATALOG
Catalog management and SEO
Cleaned up the variation family so every loft and finish sits under one parent
Rewrote titles, bullets and backend terms around how golfers search for wedges
Kept attributes accurate so each variation indexes for the right searches
02 · SEO AND CREATIVE
Image testing and review consolidation
Split tested main images and rolled out the version that earned the most clicks
Rebuilt the parent-child structure immediately when Amazon split reviews by size
Most competitors did not react, so ALVO kept its full review count on one listing

Umar has been a pleasure to work with. His knowledge of Amazon in general and specifically PPC is very advanced and has helped my account with increase sales and decreased ACOS. Job well done
